News from Kernow Web Designs

Well it’s been a busy summer here in Cornwall, with lots of exciting new projects and sites for a wide range of clients.  We’re currently working on projects for clients in Australia, Austria and the US, and have picked up a fun promotional games project for a “colourful” phone company!

Big news this week is we just launched Viral Flash Games which provides Flash game source code for webmasters and designers, and we have a number of new launches planned in the weeks to come.

I’ll be updating the portfolio on this site shortly, showing off some of our projects from the past few months…

Boa Constrictor Imperator

Following on from my last, I’ve been spreading the word about Boa Constrictor Imperator (Common boa) with a Squidoo lens. Squidoo is a social site allowing people to publish content quickly and easily on any number of topics. I decided to test it with a page about Boas to coincide with the launch of Boa-care.com

Boa Care – new site

Lots going on at Kernoweb HQ this month, but still time for a personal project too. As a lifelong reptile enthusiast and boa specialist I’m pleased to announce that a project I’ve been planning for a long time…

Boa Care is my new site where I’ll be sharing my knowledge and experience in keeping and caring for reptiles, and in particular boa constrictors. Not too much in the way of content yet, but more will be added over the coming weeks and hope that many other reptile enthusiasts find it a useful resource!

New office, new projects

Well there’s been a lot going on here recently.  My new office is finally ready and I moved in a couple of days ago… It’s so nice to have everything exactly where I wanted it, monitors properly mounted over the desk, workstation central so that the audio image is correct…

On the work front there have been some very interesting projects recently.  I’ll be updating the portfolio on this site shortly but I seem to be getting a really interesting mixture of work right now… and mostly repeat business which is nice.

Currently I’m working on a series of Flash games as part of an online music training course.  These are to compliment the ToneTutor games I developed at the end of last year.

I’m also in the design stage of a pseudo 3D action game for an American company, again a client who I developed a game for last year.  The last game, an Alice in Wonderland platformer and I got some great feedback.

I also have a couple of interesting projects of my own which I’m quietly working away on and will post about here soon!
